What Patients Say

"I can only speak highly of Jun and Dr Robin. I was diagnosed with very aggressive Rheumatoid arthritis, 4 bulging discs in my lower spine. With acupuncture every week, by the 3rd–4th week I felt good, my body finally felt like everything was in its right place and I was pain free."

Is acupuncture safe and what are the side effects?
Acupuncture is safe when performed by a CMCNZ-registered acupuncturist using sterile single-use needles. Minor side effects include temporary soreness, light bruising, or brief drowsiness. Serious adverse events are very rare, with rates well under 0.1% in pooled reviews (White A, Acupuncture in Medicine 2004, PMID 15532959). All four AWC acupuncturists are CMCNZ-registered.
Is acupuncture effective for migraine?
