ACC and Fees
Injury-related pain during pregnancy or after birth, for example a back strain from lifting or a fall, can be covered by ACC. You do not need a GP referral; we can lodge the claim at the clinic.

|---|---|---|---|
| Chiropractic | $105 | $70 | $40 |
| Acupuncture (60 min) | $80 | $70 | $0 to $20 |
Not sure whether your situation qualifies for ACC? Bring it up at booking or see our ACC treatment guide. Non-injury women's health care (menopause, fertility, menstrual concerns) is private, not ACC.
Common Questions
Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?
Our chiropractors use gentle, low-force techniques adapted for pregnancy, with positioning that avoids pressure on the abdomen and no forceful twisting. Care is adjusted trimester by trimester, and we coordinate with your midwife or GP where helpful.
Can I use ACC for pregnancy-related back or pelvic pain?
If the pain relates to an injury event, such as a lift, slip or fall, it can qualify for ACC even during pregnancy. ACC chiropractic visits are $40 and ACC acupuncture is $0 to $20 at AWC, with no GP referral required.
Do you offer acupuncture for menopause symptoms?
Yes. Menopause and perimenopause support is one of the most common reasons women see our acupuncture team, particularly for hot flushes, sleep disturbance and mood changes. Your acupuncturist will assess you first and design an individual plan.
How does fertility acupuncture work with my fertility clinic?
We provide acupuncture as a complement to care from your GP or fertility specialist, including support around IVF cycles. Dr. Robin Won and Ada Zhong both focus on fertility acupuncture. We do not replace medical fertility treatment and will encourage you to keep your specialist informed.
When should I start postnatal care?
Many mothers come in from around six weeks after birth, or earlier for acupuncture, but the right timing depends on your delivery and recovery. Book an assessment and we will advise honestly whether and when treatment is appropriate.
Can I be treated in Korean or Chinese?
Yes. Consultations are available in English, Korean and Mandarin Chinese across both our chiropractic and acupuncture teams.
Still unsure what fits your situation? Book an initial assessment and we will advise honestly.
