Auckland Wellness Centre – Local FAQ

1. How close are you to Albany Mall for a chiropractic appointment?

We’re just a 5-minute drive from Westfield Albany, right off William Pickering Drive in Rosedale. If you’re heading over from the mall after work or lunch, there’s plenty of parking available onsite.

2. Do you offer acupuncture treatments for ACC claims in North Shore, Auckland?

Yes, we’re an ACC-registered provider, and you don’t need a GP referral to get started. Many of our patients from Rosedale, Albany, and Browns Bay come to us after sports or work-related injuries for acupuncture under ACC.

3. Is spinal decompression therapy safe for Aucklanders with herniated discs?

Absolutely, and we’re one of the very few clinics in Auckland with a dedicated spinal decompression table. It’s ideal for those with disc bulges or sciatica, especially if you’ve tried other treatments with little success.

4. Where exactly are you located in Rosedale, Auckland?

You’ll find us at E2/27 William Pickering Drive, just around the corner from The Coffee Club and close to Rosedale Park. We’re in the same business complex as a physio by design, so it’s easy to spot.

5. Can I walk in for a chiropractic visit if I’m working in Albany or North Harbour?

We recommend booking online, but if you’re nearby say, working in North Harbour Industrial Estate or around Apollo Drive same-day appointments are often available. Lunchtime visits are popular with local office workers!

6. Do Auckland’s cold, damp winters affect your chiropractic or acupuncture treatments?

Definitely. Winter stiffness, increased joint pain, and tension headaches are common in Auckland’s damp climate especially around June to August. We adjust our care plans to support circulation and mobility during the colder months.

No special permits are required, but we meet all New Zealand health and safety standards. Our facility is equipped with approved decompression technology and maintained according to Auckland Council regulations.
