How ACC Treatment Works at AWC

Initial Assessment & ACC Registration
Our ACC-registered chiropractor assesses your injury, confirms your eligibility, and lodges your ACC claim directly on your behalf. We handle all the paperwork, you focus on getting better.
Chiropractic Treatment Begins
Treatment starts at your first or second appointment. Your chiropractor creates a personalised care plan, spinal adjustment, soft tissue work, rehabilitation exercises, or a combination based on your specific injury.
Acupuncture as a Follow-Up (If Recommended)
If your recovery plan includes acupuncture, we book your acupuncture sessions as separate follow-up appointments at the same clinic. ACC covers chiropractic and acupuncture on separate visits, you don't need to find a different clinic.
ACC Pays, You Don't
We bill ACC directly for approved treatment. Most patients pay $0 per session. A small patient co-payment (surcharge) may apply in some cases, we will always confirm costs before treatment begins.
