Your practitioner begins with a comprehensive Traditional Chinese Medicine assessment, including tongue examination and pulse diagnosis, to understand your body's current state.
We discuss your symptoms, lifestyle, sleep, and health goals. Acupuncture treats the whole person, context matters. You'll feel heard before treatment begins.
Fine, sterile needles are placed gently at specific points. Most patients feel minimal discomfort, many describe a sense of calm and relaxation during their session.
Following your first visit you receive a clear plan with suggested frequency and a review point. We are honest about what acupuncture can and cannot do for your situation, and we will say so if another approach suits you better.
ACC Coverage
Injured in an accident, at work or playing sport? ACC covers acupuncture for many injuries. No GP referral is needed. Our chiropractor lodges the ACC claim at the Milford clinic and acupuncture is provided as concurrent treatment.
