What happens during a Free Spinal Check?
Your check begins with a brief discussion about any areas of concern or discomfort.
One of our ACC-registered chiropractors will then capture your standing posture with PostureScreen, evaluate your
range of motion through simple movements, and perform gentle spinal palpation to identify areas
of tension or restriction. Findings are explained in plain language, with clear recommendations
on whether further treatment may be beneficial. Where imaging is clinically indicated we arrange
an X-ray referral for you. If you want the measured version, our
spinal and posture assessment adds range of motion
in degrees, orthopaedic and neurological testing, and a written baseline you can be re-measured against.
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?
No special preparation is needed. We recommend wearing or bringing comfortable, loose-fitting
clothing so your practitioner can assess your posture and movement freely. If you have any
recent X-rays or MRI reports relating to your spine, feel free to bring those, but they are
not required.
Is there any obligation after the free check?
Absolutely none. The Free Spinal Check is offered as a genuine, no-strings-attached community
service. You will receive honest findings and recommendations, and the decision about any
further care is entirely yours. There is no sales pressure of any kind.
Who performs the spinal check?
All spinal checks are conducted by qualified, ACC-registered chiropractors.

Can I book treatment on the same day as my free check?
Yes, if appointment availability allows and you feel ready to begin, same-day treatment
can sometimes be arranged. ACC-funded treatment may be available depending on your
circumstances, which your practitioner will discuss with you during the check.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
No problem, just reply to our confirmation text or call 09 600 1939 at least 24 hours
ahead and we will find you another time. Each Free Spinal Check slot is reserved with a
chiropractor, so we ask for that notice out of fairness to people on the waiting list.
The complimentary check is offered once per person, and a missed appointment without
notice means we may not be able to offer a second free slot.
